The best restaurants in Gandia

There are so many restaurants in Gandia, that it can be hard to choose where to go. That’s why I’ve compiled this list including the best restaurants in Gandia:

Meraki Port: for nice views near the beach

If you’re in search of a restaurant that offers not only good food but also stunning views, Meraki Port is the perfect choice. Located near the coast and the port, this restaurant has beautiful scenery while you enjoy your meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to dine nearby the beach.

Saborearte: for high-quality food

For those who appreciate high-quality cuisine, Saborearte is a hidden gem in Gandia. This upscale restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create exquisite dishes.

Each plate at Saborearte is a masterpiece of flavors and textures. It’s truly like art. The attentive staff and elegant ambiance really elevate the dining experience, making Saborearte a must-visit restaurant in Gandia.

Begin, Jungla: for beautiful decor

Don’t expect the best service at this restaurant, but do expect a captivating decor. Cabana en la Jungle (Begin) is the place to go to if you’re looking for something different.

This restaurant takes interior design to a whole new level, with its lush greenery, tropical vibes, and interesting seating areas. The menu features a fusion of international flavors, with each dish presented as a work of art.

Restaurante Tot Bo Gandia: for authentic local food

For an authentic taste of the local cuisine in Gandia, Restaurante Tot Bo Gandia is a must-visit. This charming restaurant showcases the amazing flavors and traditions of the region through its carefully crafted dishes. I would describe dining here as a personal experience in a family run restaurant.

The area around it does not look very appealing, however the restaurant itself feels very cosy and the food is delicious. A menu del dia is €15, while the tapas menu is €20 per person including a drink and a dessert. Make sure to book a table in advance!

Restaurante Japones Yuzumi: for a menu del dia with sushi

Yuzumi is a less expensive alternative to Kazoku, a recently opened sushi place here. It’s located in the centre of Gandia. They serve sushi, but also other tasty dishes and their menu del dia is a good deal. Personally, I think their sushi number 115A is really delicious (sushi roll with tempura, cream cheese and avocado). It’s best to make a reservation beforehand just in case.

Tasca de los Palomitos: for affordable Italian food

Craving Italian cuisine? Look no further than Tasca de los Palomitos. This cozy restaurant offers a menu filled with classic Italian favorites at affordable prices.

They have a delicious homemade lasagne and you can tell that each recipe is prepared with love and attention to detail. The relaxed ambiance and friendly staff make Tasca de los Palomitos a popular choice for both locals and visitors.

Manzili: for affordable and local food

If you’re looking for a small local gem that’s very affordable, then head over to Manzili. Don’t expect English-speaking waiters or glamorous dining, but do expect a local and authentic feel.
Personally, I think the carbonara spaghetti is very nice. The tiramisu is also delicious. They also serve kebabs and pizzas (even pizzas with kebab).

In case you’re looking for an affordable, very local place, go here. It’s also a great place to practice your Spanish.

Romanova: for a great culinary experience

For a truly memorable culinary adventure, Romanova is a restaurant that should not be missed. This gastronomic gem combines innovative cooking techniques with unique flavor combinations, which results in a dining experience that delights the senses.

If you’re a food-enthusiast, you should definitely visit Romaova. It’s without a doubt among the best restaurants in Gandia. Prepare to be amazed by their culinary artistry.

Arroceria Casa Julia: for incredible paella

When in Gandia, tasting the paella is a must, and Arroceria Casa Julia is the place to go for an exceptional paella experience. This traditional rice dish, cooked to perfection, showcases the flavors of the region.

With a variety of options, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian paellas, Arroceria Casa Julia caters to all tastes. The cozy interior and friendly service add to the charm of this must-visit restaurant.

Mr. India: for Indian cuisine

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been. Especially their chicken biryani is delicious and the portion is huge! Luckily, you can bring the remaining food home with you if you want to. Definitely embark on a culinary journey to the vibrant flavors of India at Mr. India in Gandia.

This restaurant brings the authentic taste of Indian cuisine to Gandia, offering a wide selection of curries, flavorful biryanis, and tasty tandoori dishes. The vibrant spices and authentic recipes create an explosion of flavors that transport you to the streets of India.

Even though the restaurant does not look that amazing from the outside, the incredible food makes it one of the must-visit restaurants in Gandia.

Kazoku: for tasty sushi

If you’re wondering where to go for the most delicious sushi, then one of the best places to visit is definitely Kazoku. Do keep in mind that it’s a little more expensive than other places in the area. It’s pretty new to the area and is located a bit outside of the centre of Gandia.

If you don’t mind spending a bit more and you’re craving some good sushi, then visit this spot. My favorite sushi here is the futomaki with tuna and salmon. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera with me when visiting, so I can’t show you how well presented the sushi looked.

Buen Lugar: for local cuisine

Buen Lugar in Gandia is a popular restaurant known for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a diverse menu. Their menu del dia costs around 20 euros per person. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It’s located in Grau i Platja. As it’s a popular restaurant, I would recommend making a reservation before hand.

Al Punto Gastrobar: for lunch or breakfast

Al Punto Gastrobar is a great place for breakfast or lunch. You can create your own tostada to your own tastings. For instance, a tostada with poached egg and smoked salmon, will be less than €5.

They have delicious oat milk coffees (cafΓ© con leche de avena), nice smoothies and the service is very good. It’s an affordable spot in one of the most beautiful squares in Gandia, called Placa Major. You have views of the Colegiata de Santa Maria when you sit on their terrace.

Bradbury: for juicy burgers

Last but not least: Bradbury, before known as La Llar. It’s not really a restaurant, but because it’s so delicious I didn’t want to not include it. Sometimes, you crave a delicious, no-fuss burger that satisfies your hunger. This is the go-to spot for mouthwatering burgers in Gandia.

You can also go here for pizzas, but I would personally highly recommend getting a burger here.

With a variety of juicy patties, fresh toppings, and tasty sauces, La Llar makes sure that each burger is as delicious as it can be. Whether you’re looking for a classic cheeseburger or a gourmet creation, this restaurant definitely delivers on taste and convenience.
